Coin collection was considered as the hobby of elite class.
Today numismatics is developed as a hobby, investment and business. Anybody
interested can start this hobby any time.
You can start with looking around your house, your purse,
coin boxes, old bags and old shelf etc. Definitely you will find some coins.

arranged. For example, keep 1-rupee denominations on the first page, 2 rupees
on the second page and 5 rupees on the third page like that.
When you select the coins for your album select only good
condition coin only. Also keep the oldest dated coin in your collection if you
choose to keep only one.
As you progress your collection will get increased. You may
require another album to keep foreign country coins.
As a young collector please spend some time to go thorough
your coins at least 30 minutes every week. When you reach a target of 100 plus
coins you can try to catalogue it. The best way is to use some online
catalogues like numista, coin gallery etc. Here you can find a listing related
to your coin with image. You can mark it as available in your collection or
available for exchange. Most of the online catalogues offer variants of each
coins and its catalogue value. If you are lucky you will find some valuable
coins in your collection,
